We just installed our second pallet machine with another Haas DM1 each time it has been a smooth install. During the second install Midaco even looked our original machine over and made adjustments due to us moving the machine to make room for the new machine. The service and tech departments are awesome to work with and usually get us running with just some help over the phone. We Recommend Midaco to everyone we talk with!
This has been a great add to our HASS VF4 SS. It allows us to load and unload parts and keep the machine cutting. Call service and they answer and have an answer for your issue.
Good People, friendly staff, knowledgeable, not to mention the install peeps are excellent and fast. if you have the space Pallet changers are the correct choice. we have 7 Midacos and we recommend. unless you want to be slow and not competitive. than open the doors and take your time. :) Geo
From the installation tech to use of the pallet system, I am very pleased with how well these work. Very user friendly and i would recommend to anyone that can keep the machine running and could utilize the pallet system!
Running pallet changer for 2 years 24 hrs / 5 days. System works great. High volume production over 25,000 pallet change cycles so far.
After our initial successful test of a Midaco pallet changer on a Haas VF2SS in 2015, we made the decision to install four VF3's with Midaco pallet changers. No regrets. There isn't much arguing with a spindle utilization increase of 50% with no increase in labor cost. Prior to these pallet changers our typical spindle utilization was approximately 60%. Afterward, it's typically in excess of 90%. Pretty simple straight forward way to dramatically increase output. If this is something you're considering, the larger pallets compatible with extended-Y machines make it easy to install larger, 2-station vises which improves throughput even more.
Im not sure if there are other pallet companies but after dealing with the service / tech team at Midaco i'm glad it was their equipment attached to our cnc mill. We had a few bumps and bruises while implementing new production setups and with Dave and Bobs support we are back up and running. I have troubled them several times even during a trade show - yet they gave me their full attention with great patience including prompt email assistance.
The reason we chose to purchase a new Midaco Pallet Changer is simple, our 16 year old system is still performing like new. In addition to reliability, Midaco has always supported us either over the phone or on site with any troubleshooting questions. Midaco Pallet Changer allows us to load and unload pallets outside of machine where there is more room while parts on second pallet are machined. We are very happy with our choice to purchase from Midaco and are looking forward to the delivery of our new system.

I didn't know what type of pallet changer would be best for my setup but the team at Midaco were very friendly and helpful in determining what I needed. Our machining center has saved significantly since installation of our automatic pallet changer. If I ever need anything for my machining center, Midaco will be one of the first places I go to.
