“A manual pallet changer is really great for setup time reduction,” said Midaco’s Munao. “By dedicating pallets for different job situations, you can eliminate a lot of redundancies—whether it’s vices or tablework or whatever the customer is doing on a daily basis, they can have pallets dedicated to that type of work ready to go, so there’s a lot less setup time getting the parts into the machine.”
